To coincide with becoming President of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in 2021, Professor Jo Richardson asked us to produce a report to launch her Homeful presidential campaign. This focused on how housing-led approaches can help to resolve and prevent homelessness in all its forms.
We edited the text provided by CIH, World Habitat and 15 case study organisations from across all parts of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Spain and Slovakia. Our creative studio then designed a bright campaign logo, plus concepts, colour schemes and layouts for the report. Alongside this, we also produced an accompanying visual brand for the President’s own fundraising for her chosen charity, End Youth Homelessness.
The campaign centred on the UK’s largest co-produced action research project involving people who’ve experienced homelessness, housing providers, homelessness organisations, partner agencies and charities to collect data, analyse findings and share learning. It was particularly timely piece of work to reflect on the ‘Everyone In’ initiative and other responses to the coronavirus pandemic.
Gavin Smart, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Housing, wrote: ‘By collaborating across the sector we can do more. The Homeful campaign is our opportunity to work together to end homelessness for good.’
