Horiba - Design, Digital

An online world for global, high-tech precision manufacturing
With hundreds of exhibitors vying for visitors attention, Horiba were looking for an inventive and exciting way to get information across on their stand, in line with the group’s values of ‘joy and fun’.
We came up with ‘Horibaville’ – virtual town built as a scrolling, parallax website. Visitors to the stand took a digital town tour on a large plasma touchscreen or tablet to discover the group’s complete product portfolio.
The virtual landscape contained several building hotspots, which took users into different virtual environments with embedded videos, PDF documents and a ‘mail to’ feature to send links and information directly to any email address for further use.

“From design concept through to construction and implementation, Nimlok and
Creative Bridge have demonstrated professionalism, consistency and reliability and
– most importantly – put our minds at ease with their on-going support.”

Horibaville went down so well that the group tasked with creating a second virtual world for their automotive division, and we’ve been asked to plan to create further versions for their three other divisions. Designed to be fully compatible across all digital platforms, Horibaville has proved its worth as a marketing and sales tool far beyond trade shows.
